Booking Hotels and Flights Online: Tips, Almatar and Jeeny

Booking travel online is convenient, yet small details can turn a cheap fare into an expensive trip. These tips apply to most travel websites, followed by what to know about Almatar and Jeeny.

Flights

Compare the full price

A low base fare may exclude baggage, seat selection or meals. Add them and compare the final total, not the headline fare.

Check dates and airports

Flying a day earlier or later, or from a nearby airport, may change the price. Flexible search tools help, but always confirm the final dates before payment.

Read the fare rules

• Is changing or cancelling allowed, and at what fee?
• What baggage is included?
• How long are connections? Very short ones risk a missed flight and very long ones tire you out.

Names must match your passport

Spell the passenger names exactly as in the passport. Corrections can be costly or impossible. Also check passport validity and visa rules for your destination.

Hotels

• Look at the location. A cheap hotel far from where you need to be adds taxi costs.
• Read recent reviews, focusing on cleanliness and noise.
• Check the cancellation policy. Free cancellation costs a little more but gives flexibility.
• Look for extra fees such as city taxes or resort fees paid at the hotel.
• Confirm the room type, bed type and number of guests.

Almatar code Z4

Almatar books flights and hotels worldwide. Our code is Z4, and the terms on our page are 7% off hotels and 5% cashback on flights. The two are different: the hotel offer reduces what you pay, while the flight offer returns part of the amount afterwards. Read our cashback vs discount guide to see how they differ.

1. Open Almatar from our store page.
2. Search your trip and compare options.
3. Enter Z4 in the promo field at the payment step.
4. Check whether the total drops (hotels) and keep the confirmation (flights).

Jeeny rides

Jeeny is a ride-hailing app. Our codes are for new riders on the first trip:

• Saudi Arabia: SS15 gives 40% off the first ride, up to SAR 8.
• Jordan: U99 gives 30% off the first ride, up to JOD 0.75.

Add the code in the app's promo section before you request the ride. Because of the caps, the saving is largest on short trips, where 40% stays below SAR 8.

Before you travel

1. Save your booking confirmations offline.
2. Check baggage rules again before you pack.
3. Arrive at the airport in good time.
4. Consider travel insurance for expensive trips.
5. Book airport transfers in advance when arriving late at night.

Take screenshots at each booking stage, so you can prove what price and terms you accepted.

Codes, discounts and terms can change at any time. Always check the store's terms at checkout before you pay.
